This system was originally built to recycle the end of pipe treated wastewater from a metal finishing plant after the clarifier. Originally manufactured by Hydrpro to our specifications, the frame was made from Vinylester Fiberglass to withstand the rigors of the electronics manufacturing environment. The system was taken out of service do to a plant consolidation after 5 years of use and hundreds of thousands of dollars in water savings. It is located in Tampa, FL and ready for shipping.
It has a Grundfos SS 5-HP pump, and all of the bells and whistles......... as you can see.
The BWRO system is made up of one skid mounted RO unit. The brackish unit is designed in a one (1) stage, 1-1 array with four (4) membrane elements, two (2) in each of the two (2) pressure vessels. The unit is designed to produce 30,000 gpd (21 gpm) permeate at a TDS of less than 25 ppm. The unit is capable of 85% recovery at 75°F. Feedwater was typically 1700-ppm which improved as the recycling environment did.
The Reverse Osmosis system wass designed to operate at a maximum trans-membrane (feed to product) pressure of 170 psi with the remaining portions of the system operating at lower pressures.
All piping and structural materials are fabricated from PVC or Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic (FRP).
